Why I love today:

1. I woke up at 11 o’clock and not because I went to bed at 3 a.m. or because I couldn’t sleep during the night.  Just good old fashioned sleeping in!
2. I cooked myself breakfast!  After eating nearly all my meals in a cafeteria, homemade foodies—even just some scrambled eggs—are one of life’s greatest pleasures.
3. I spent an hour looking up party locations for my birthday: the big 2-1!
4. It is exactly 20 days until I turn 21.  I think that sounds like a perfectly reasonable time to start a countdown.
5. Unlimited time to research and daydream about South American adventures to come!
6. It has been a perfect fall and today is no exception.
7. Pumpkin oatmeal bars. No description needed.
8. I have great friends and I just happen to live with a few of the best.
